Privacy Policy

LinkRepo operates a personal saved-link library available on the web, mobile apps, and Chrome extension. This policy explains what information LinkRepo collects, how it is used, and when it is shared.
Information we collect
When you sign in with Google or Facebook, we collect your email address, display name, profile-image URL, identity provider, and the provider account identifier. We also store account status, account timestamps, and your display and theme preferences.
When you use LinkRepo, we collect the URLs you save; titles you edit; notes; categories and subcategories; starred status; and metadata retrieved from a saved URL. Retrieved metadata can include page titles, descriptions, Open Graph details, author, image URL, product name, price, availability, brand, and SKU. A saved URL, its metadata, or a note may contain personal or sensitive information depending on what you choose to save.
We also process session information needed to keep you signed in and limited technical logs, including request IDs, request paths, response status, and timing, to secure and operate LinkRepo.
How we use information
We use this information to authenticate you, provide and maintain your private link library, retrieve link previews, organize links, prevent abuse, diagnose service problems, and comply with legal obligations.
AI enrichment
When LinkRepo organizes a saved link with AI, it sends the saved URL, domain, page and Open Graph metadata, product metadata, author, selected category, and optional note to Google Gemini. Gemini returns a suggested category, subcategory, summary, confidence value, and tags.
LinkRepo does not use your saved-link content to train its own AI models. Google states that Gemini API content under its unpaid service can be used to improve its products; content under its paid service is not used for that purpose. LinkRepo must use a Gemini account configuration consistent with these statements. Do not save sensitive personal information in a URL or note unless you accept this processing.
When information is shared
We share information only as needed to operate LinkRepo. Google and Meta/Facebook process information needed to verify the sign-in method you select. Google Gemini processes the saved-link information described above when AI enrichment is used to categorize a link. We also contact the website or domain represented by a URL you save to retrieve its public page metadata.
We use cloud hosting and infrastructure providers to operate LinkRepo. We do not disclose your information to advertising networks, sell your personal information, or use advertising pixels in the applications included with this release.
Security
LinkRepo does not collect or store a LinkRepo password. Sign-in is provided through Google or Meta/Facebook. We use access-controlled cloud infrastructure, restricted network access for internal data services, encrypted production connections, and secrets management for production credentials.
Before each production release, we will validate that data services and any future storage buckets are not publicly accessible and that only authorized services can access them. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and retention
You can delete individual saved links and categories in LinkRepo. We retain account and saved-link data while your account remains active, subject to operational backups and legal obligations.
Data deletion instructions
To permanently delete your LinkRepo account and associated data, sign in to the LinkRepo web or mobile app, open the Account settings icon, select Delete account + data, and complete the confirmation. This action permanently deletes your saved links first, then your categories and subcategories, followed by your preferences and profile. It also revokes every active LinkRepo session. This cannot be undone.
If you cannot sign in, email ameekkhan.soccer@gmail.com from the email address associated with your account. The app owner will verify and process the request. Operational backups are removed according to their normal retention schedule, except where retention is legally required.
